In 2018 I witnessed the profound miracle of a dead baby coming back to life.

While I was still practicing as an RN, I started a hospital ministry in the Dominican Republic. On one of my visits to the Dominican Republic, I was sitting down after having lunch when I heard a commotion going on outside. Within seconds a nurse came running into where I was with sheer terror in her eyes. I looked down into her hands to see a limp, grey, lifeless newborn baby girl. I immediately told the nurse to lay the baby down so I could listen for a heartbeat. When I listened heard nothing. The baby was cold and though I didn’t know what happened, I knew that she had had no heartbeat for a while. Her body was cold with no signs of life. The room was filled with people waiting for me to do something. I knew there was nothing I could do so at that moment I cried out to God. I cried “LORD This baby is dead. There is nothing I can do!” At that moment the Holy Spirit Said something I will never forget. He said:

“I know you can’t you can’t but I can”

And Immediately that baby started breathing.

Now I know what you must be thinking. “wow! what a crazy miracle!” and yes, while that is true, it was so much more than that. You see this was a physical representation of what happens to us spiritually when we repent and surrender our life to Jesus. At that moment we literally are taken from death to life. The greatest miracle of all.

After that miracle, the Holy Spirit spoke to me again and said “I have come to breathe life into what is dead.”

That moment was the birth of Breathe Life Int. though, it wouldn’t officiall launch for 4 more years. That moment launched this ministry. This ministry exisits to see the Holy Spirit breathe HIS life back into what is dead. Both the lost souls and the dead church.
